Unusual question
Jana Remy, on her blog, posed this question:
what is the plural form of 'apocalypse'?...to which I would answer:
Why would you ever need to know?I mean, how many of them can we have?

It must be apocalypses. Arguably, the recent earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster qualify for mutliple apocalypses for those in the affected region.
On a different language musing note, I was eavesdropping at the coffee shop again and overheard a portly lady with a cane tell her friend "I have six fatal conditions. Some of them are chronic."
