i've puzzled about that one as well inflight (it was either jetblue or sw)
i've also seen, on a bottle of sleeping pills "may cause drowsiness" to which i thought "i sure as heck hope so..." followed by "hey, what do they mean MAY cause drowsiness? kind of like an asprin saying it "may relieve pain" :)
