I'm going places

Me and this Vegan Slasher movie are going places.

As you recall, the big question was, what would a vegan slasher use for a weapon, given that vegans don't own cleavers? The answer...

...a vegetable peeler!

Think about it. The gruesome potential is just off the scale. With a vegetable peeler, the vegan slasher can flail his (or her) victims. And the point is great for gouging out eyes. Vegan Slasher will be so gruesome it will make The Texas Chainsaw Massacre look like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

This is such a great idea. I gotta get me an agent.

This was my idea first

Lately the idea of veganism has been on my mind. So today I was washing knives and I came to the cleaver, and I thought, "A vegan wouldn't have much use for a cleaver, would he?" That led (inevitably) to the thought, "Then what would a vegan do if he suddenly went beserk and became a homicidal slasher? What would he slash with, if he didn't have a cleaver handy?" That led (inevitably) to the thought, "How about a vegan slasher movie!"

I have to give this some more thought, but I think it has a lot of potential.

Island Time

Sorry to have been away for so long. First nothing interesting happened, and then I was away to St. Maarten for nine days. When you're in the islands you don't care whether anything interesting happens or not, because life is just good. At one point, the battery in Judi's watch was dying, prompting this series of comments while we were sitting in a restaurant around 10:30 in the morning:

Judi: "My watch says it's seven o'clock."

Ten minutes later:

"Now my watch says it's 7:02."

Ten minutes later:

"Now it's 7:03."

Ten minutes later, Judi looked at her watch and her face suddenly brightened:

"My watch is on St. Maarten time!"

If you are bored to tears, you can read my accounts (and see my pictures) from our visits to St. Maarten in 2003 and 2004:

My account of the 2005 trip will be posted soon. You can see all my online trip albums (like you would want to) here.
